From foundation to the present day
1985
| Textile specialists Karin Schröder, Tilman Stockhausen and Hannelore Stockhausen founded the company, initially with 10 employees. |
1990 | After the first successful years, production operations were relocated to a new building. |
1993
| An in-house product development team developed a printing technique that gives military camouflage fabrics infrared absorbing capability. |
1994 | Colorprint became licensed supplier to the Federal Office for Arms Technology and eight NATO states. |
1996 | International expansion of business with military products, with customers in 26 NATO states. |
2002 | Around 30 people were employed at the sites in Krefeld and Tönisvorst. |
2003
| Additional two-phase printing machines for vat print applications were purchased and the production programme was extended to include fixing and washing. |
2004 | Colorprint began implementing modern upholstery printing projects for automotive customers. |
2005 | ‘Colormotion’ special effect fashion prints |
2006 | Production capacity increase |
2010 | Rope dyeing & HT pre-treatment/dyeing production programme |
2011 | Digital ink jet camouflage printing |
